Bergen County Division Of Senior Services
Meals on Wheels North Jersey coordinates with the Bergen County Division of Senior Services to deliver meals to homebound seniors in over two dozen communities in Bergen County, New Jersey.
CareOne is New Jersey's largest privately-owned provider of post acute rehabilitation and long
term care. CareOne provides kitchens and food preparation services for several of our routes.
Christian Health Care Center
The Christian Health Care Center, a non-profit center, provides a continuum of high-quality, family-centered elder-care and mental health services and is open to anyone regardless of race, sex or religion. It provides kitchens and food preparation services for our routes in the Mahwah/Ramsey area.
Rotary International connects professionals wth local community service projects, including many volunteers for our routes in the North Jersey area.
Eisai, located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, fully funds the Magnolia Meals at Home program - a meal delivery
program providing nourishing meals at no-cost to households affected by breast cancer, thyroid cancer, kidney cancer or soft tissue sarcoma. A menu, created by a registered dietitian specifically to meet the dietary needs of patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments, provides ten days of frozen meals to patients in need as well as to their dependents. The meal deliveries are coordinated by Meals on Wheels North Jersey and delivered by a combination of Eisai employees and Meals on Wheels volunteers.

Meals on Wheels has participated in the Subaru Share the Love Event since its inception in 2008. Subaru and its retailers support Meals on Wheels because it’s part of their commitment—to leaving the world a better place than they found it through the core values of trust and love. Through Meals on Wheels America, the Subaru Share the Love Event has helped deliver nearly two million meals to America’s seniors.
Every fiscal quarter, Whole Foods Market chooses one day and one non-profit to receive 5% of their total sales. On July 26th, four Bergen County locations (Paramus, Ridgewood, Closter and Edgewater) lent their support resulting in Meals on Wheels North Jersey receiving a check for $19,600!
